Oh Maxwell

We think Maxwell is starting to guard McKenna. The other day she started crying while I was in the shower. Then I hear Maxwell "crying" along with her. He was sitting at her door and followed me in. I wouldn't necessarily call what he does in this video "guarding" but I thought it was funny.

11 Weeks

Here are some pictures from the last week or so.  Enjoy!

She really likes her thumb or any of her fingers.  She practices getting them in her mouth all the time.  Once she's able to get it and keep it there I think she's going to be a very happy baby.

Apparently the day was too much for Maxwell.  He had to cover his face.

There is no way these jeans are newborn.  I'm starting to doubt whether they could even be 3 month. They have to be mislabeled.  

I was trying to catch her smiling.  Its difficult when you are all by yourself.  I think I got a couple though.

She able to see further distances now.  If you put her in the swing she'll just sit there and stare at her mobile.

Of course Maxwell had to check things out.

He sat in the background on guard for a little bit.  I have video of what he did next.  Hopefully I'll have time to get it posted in the next few days.

The Playmat

I had a few little clips and decided to check out more of the features on the video editing software. Its got a little A.D.D. - Sorry. As I experiment and learn more hopefully they will get better.

10 weeks old

Its crazy how fast time is going.  I only have 2 weeks left of leave.  Here are a couple of pictures.  I've be busy trying to get stuff done around the house and running errands, so I don't have much.  Its hard to keep the camera handy as well.  She moves so quickly.

That's what her hair looks like if we don't brush it after a bath.  It makes me smile.

9 weeks old

McKenna went to the pediatrician today and got an excellent report! She weighs 8 lbs. 14 oz and is 21 3/4 inches long. She had some shots today and handled it like a trooper.

Its hard to believe its been 2 months already.  We're starting to get lots of smiles and she's acting like she wants to start "talking" to us.  She's also really close to being able to hold her head up on her own.  She can  for periods of time but she's still a little wobbly.

We finally got some storage for McKenna's toys and stuffed animals.  Hopefully this will work for a while because there is no more space in her room.  I'm happy with how cute it turned out.

My parents came for a visit. Thankfully they were willing to babysit some for us so we could go out to a nice dinner and run some errands. Also thanks to Grammy we have lots of pictures to post.
