Allergies

3 weeks ago I had surgery.  Tonsils out.  Uvula shortened.  Nose straightened.  Airways in my nose widened and strengthened.  Thankfully my mom was able to come down for a week and help Ian take care of McKenna and I.  I spent a week in a haze due to all the medication I was taking, which was probably good thing since otherwise I would have been completely miserable.  After a week the doctor removed the splint and packing from my nose and I felt like a new person.  I can already breathe better and I still have some healing to do.  I just wish my throat was doing as good as my nose.  Its definitely taking longer to heal than I had hoped, but it is steadily improving.  The doctor is very happy with my recovery so far, so I guess I shouldn't complain.

While I was under for surgery they tested me for allergies just to see.  these are the results.  I don't really understand them so if anyone else does please let me know.  The only thing I do know is that of all things I'm allergic to cats.  After a day of only being able to say "what the heck" I've sort of moved on. I've got some meds and may do some immunotherapy.  If anyone has any experience with this I'd love to hear about it.  Just curious if it really works.
