We took McKenna to the pediatrician this morning. She got an excellent report. She's up to 5 lbs. 13 oz - she was 5 lbs. 9 oz. when we brought her home on Friday, so she's on her way to being back at her birth weight. She peed when the nurse put her on the scale and then pooped on the nurse - I guess that is what you get for putting a thermometer in a very uncomfortable place.
She is slightly tongue tied or tight tongued (they've used both), but they said its not an extreme case and most likely will stretch over time. She goes back to the pediatrician next week for another quick check.
