No - thats not a shiner. She's got a little bit of a cold so her eye is really runny. Its hard to keep it clean. Plus she hates having her face wiped in any way shape or form.

Look at me sitting like a big girl
She still falls over, so we can't just plop her down on the floor. The play pen gives her a chance to work on sitting and moving around without us worrying she'll bonk her head.

Oh my goodness! Now she looks just like you, Stacy.
She does look a lot like you! Look at what a big girl she is! I think all babies must hate having their faces wiped. I have to pin Aiden down... it is like wrestling an alligator. :-)
We'll have to pull out the baby pictures and compare. Maybe I'll post a couple and take a poll.
Wiping their faces is the WORST!! Hopefully she'll grow out of that.
Holy crap. I found some old photos in my Picasa. She does look just like me. I'm going to have to post some for comparison.
